Another Aviation style grill thread...

I was just noticing the grill on the 95 Impreza L AWD 5-speed i fixed up for my 16 year old daughter Sommer, and noticed that it had the "Aviation" influenced grill in it!.....so maybe Subaru has been playing with this ideal longer that we thought they had.....

What do you think?

I never even noticed it before, but I think your right, Huck. Looks a helluva lot better than it does on the Tribeca, too.

BTW, nice job on the Impreza. The scoop really sets it off!

Exactly. It's all about looks at that age. And to me, it looks good. My daughter's only 6, and she already wants a claret SVX when she turns 16.

Actually that grill came off a 2.2 car, as the 1.8 Impreza has the straight grill...the 2.2 grill always looked better to me....just hadn't noticed the Aviation theme in it till recently...

And, No, the 95 didn't come with a scoop (not in the US anyway), I added it to "sporty" it up for her, added the rear spoiler, and some Turbo Legacy alloys...now it looks fast, and gets about 30 MPG

Thanks Guys,
I bought it wrecked (older wrecked Impreza's with 100k + miles sell cheap) and fixed it and had it painted, so I don't have too much in it, but I know it will be a good dependable car for a while, and the EJ18/22 is super easy to work on.

Look Alltrac, no need to say Perv and stuff like that to me or i will make your brains shattered on ALL the TRAC...

1st, Either the girl is 6 or 16, i said she looks beautiful at that age, i meant she will grow up to become a beautiful lady, i did not mean anything dirty by that, i was just giving a friendly opinion.

2nd, i have a GF which i adore very much...

3rd, you are a very mad person, i suggest you go and have a psychiatric evaluation...

4th, i Live like gazillion miles away from the states you j/k Alltrac !!!

Maybe there are some things you will not understand in our way of life, we do not have sexual harrasment over here, neither it is considered wrong for guys to kiss on the cheek...
When we say over here that this 4 or 5 or 15 or 16 year old girl looks sweet, we do not mean we want to get into her pants, but rather she will grow older to become a beautiful lady... while you consider the issue as sexual harrassment...
And when it happens that for a long time you haven't seen your male friend, when you see him and only give him a handshake, you will be insulting him by meaning that you don't really like him... you should greet him by kissing him three times on the cheek...
