flaring hypothesis

I was thinking, since trannies flare with the resistor on and sometimes dont flare with the resistor off, can this be a solenoid A problem? maybe its sticky or not fully opening or fully closing? I see tranny's with 30k on them flaring, can any of the solenoids be sticking or not fully opening or closing? I say solenoid A because that solenoid controls line pressure. With the resistor off the trannies shift perfect, so to me it really doesnt sound like a clutch problem or a band problem, sounds like a hydraulic problem. But then again it is weird because with the resistor off it still flares and then doing the band adjustment really helps, whats up with that? Even with the low mileage on some of these 4eat's they still need band adjustment why? Tell me your thoughts as well.

The only problem that Ive found is that when I unplug my resistor is foaming of the ATF(which turns on the power light and code 11 Sol.a)... otherwise it shifts better and generally acts just a little better.
