Intake cover
When I bought my SVXx recently, I noticed the intake cover was loose...but the clips were still in it. I took the cover off and the clips look very damaged. Well I bought new clips from subaru and now they seem smaller and don't hold in the metal intake bracket.... My question is, are there supposed to be some grommet mating clips in the metal bracket where the cover trim clips attach??

Actually, I can answer my own question...unless I'm wrong, someone let me know...........I believe on the subaru parts website, there are two grommets that mount to the throttle chamber.

I believe you're right about the grommet. Even with new pins, one side of my intake cover doesn't want to stay down; I just haven't bothered to investigate further.

Cool, thanks Earthworm...P/n: 14096AA001 Grommet is exactly what I needed.........I guess it's better to look under the '92 year instead of my '95 year because there is way more detail.
