Moisture in Lights & Alarm Issue...

Hello Everyone,
This is a great forum. I recently inported my SVX with 60,000Miles from San Deigo to Vancouver BC. As it is fall up here and it rains at this time of year my center light bar and my right rear tail light have both developed moisture inside. Could it be the warm climate cracked the seals? Is this common?

I guess what I want to know is how do I pull my center grill out to look for cracks and try to re-seal it?

As well what is the trick to get my Alarm into Programming mode? Even in passive mode (Without the Remote) the light stays on and it will not arm it's self.

Thanks in Advance!!!

The lights aren't actually completely sealed. The grille has a small drain tube on the back to drain any water build-up from inside. It doesn't really work well for moisture.

Removal of the grille should be done carefully or else you may end up breaking the clips that hold it in.

As for the taillight and alarm, try the search button as these issues have been discussed to exhaustion!

Thanks Earthworm. I thought someone cracked my center light bar and that is why the moisture was getting in. Is this normal to have a build up or was it when they were doing some cleaning at Subaru? Funny that they put a drain into it. It is almost like admitting there is a problem.

I love my car and at least once a week I get people asking me what is it?
