Talking Interesting find - SVX w/ Huge Turbo!

Came across this on NASIOC today. That's a bis a$$ turbo this guy has on his SVX - that's the size of one I saw in Japan on an R33 Skyline GT-R.

I would like to know how much it costs - I can't find a ball bearing turbo kit anywhere near that size for sale on the internet. A smaller Garret Single Turbo kit for the Supra/Skyline I came across runs $5000 w/o installation. That turbo alone must cost upwards of 8 grand!!!!

Did he remove the abs module?

That doesn't look too huge. Actually looks about the same size as the t3/t04e that my buddy has on his crx. It didn't cost much @ all.

Look at the size of the turbo kit offered by MotorSport SVX:

When, you look at the size of the turbo (on the blue car) as it sits next to the H-6 engine, that thing is BIG!!! It very well could be a Garret T3 ball bearing turbo, but they come in different sizes...

It is big, but you still can't put much of a boost on it unless you change the heads or pistons.

I doubt it's a chop job as well - there's just too much detail...

1) The ABS module has been ditched or relocated.
2) The intake system has been totally redone.
3) It looks plausible! When compared to the engine bay from the MotorSport SVX turbo kit there's a big gap on the left side of the engine bay (which is where the big turbo sits).
4) The picture was found on NASIOC - this guy would have been flamed out of town a long time ago if it was a fake!

It looks like he has the turbine outlet going straight to the fenderwell and routed for an intercooler. The lack of intake piping leads me to believe he has an intercooler as well! As he has theintake pipe coming up and around the other side mostly likely.
