actually my plan was to reregister my wrecked svx. i would use that good body and rebadge it with my vin number. don't know how legal that is or if it's even possible, but i'm researching it now.

i'm not quite sure how they got that jewel. actually from what i hear, the car had a good running engine and tranny, both of which has been sold.

the air bag has been cut out of the steering wheel. i got the vin number along with the last registered owner's name from the registration left within the car.

i can only come up with a few reasons for the car being there. it was either:

left abandoned and these guys towed it
or the person was arrested and the car was impounded.
maybe they got a long prison term?

other than that i don't have a clue how or where they got it from.

i was planing to put my spare engine in it. since i don't have a tranny, i was thinking about putting a 5 speed in it. the condition of the interior looks pretty good, except for the yellow pine pollen that is in the car because the people at the junkyard didn't close the door, but i can get all that cleaned up. i got a steering rack and pinion and i also have an extra set of struts i can cram into there. got an extra stereo housing...all i would need is a radiator and a left turn light and the time to cram all that back into the car. then it would be a fully functional car. oh and the steering wheel with air bag from my green.

guess rwd could be fun, but i still like awd
