That is not true. In 92, Spoiler is optional. I think it is optional in all the years.

So you can have a 92 LS-L Svx without spoiler. Why? I used to have a 92 LS-L without a spoiler.

Also, if you look closely, you will see that there is a CD player indicating that IS a LS-L and you can also see that this car has a sunroof, another indication of it being a LS-L

You may want to study your SVXes a little more.

Put it this way, when you memorised the VIN decoding algorithm for SVXes, you are set.

the cd player was optional too, but its part of the touring package. a full package would include all the options of which there were 3 in 92.

cd player
spoiler
moonroof

uh no. its just that i dont consider it the full touring package. you cant call it a "package" unless you have all 3 of the options.

The spoiler is not concidered part of the "package". I have the window sticker from my car, it's seperate (about $250 if I remember)

LS: No CD player, 4 Speakers instead of 6 (no tweeters), No sunroof.

LS-L: CD player, 6 Speakers, Sunroof.

Some LS came with optional seude seats.

Spoilers are optional in both LS and LS-L models.

Trust me, I know. I memorized the option list and VIN Decoding chart. That'll happen when you have over 2000 posts and 3 SVXes under your belts

Later in the description, it lists it as an "inline style engine"

Yes, the spoiler was optional on the 92 LS-L. The difference between the LS and the LS-L were the in-dash tweeters, the CD player, Speed sensitive steering instead of the RPM sensitive steering and the security system with keyless entry.

I'm pretty sure 1994 was the first year you could get an SVX without the moonroof.

I have two 92 LS-Ls without spoilers. I added an OEM spoiler to one of them.
