Ever try to replace the antenna with a flexible one?

What a beotch!!! The hole in the plastic quarter panel is too big for the thing to grab onto. The small hole in the metal panel beneath it is too small to get in some sort of washer. I was able to reuse the plastic piece that slides into the large hole. The antenna ball fits in the top of it nicely if you use some rubber o-rings. I had to find a larger screw to attach the ball base to the bottom part of the antenna which I put beneath the small hole in the metal panel. It seems to work well and I will see this week how it does during my drive to work. If it works well I won't have to worry about breaking it at the car wash anymore.

I'm a complicated man. I can't always remember a silly antenna...

I'm not digging the reception of the rubber ducky. I will probably replace the mast on the old antenna.
