Thumbs up Re: Met an older owner today,

At least I don't think of old people as wastes of space... old people have such a wealth of knowledge and understanding.

Excuse me, but at 70 I'll waste all the space I possibly can. (Watch me take up two parking places at Wally-World).

I appreciate the "wealth of knowledge" comment, but half the time I have no idea where I put it. Understanding? I don't understand any gadget that that has an "i" as a prefix.

Nonetheless, thanks for the geezer endorsement.

Ron.

It's hard to understand when you don't have the life experience of one of us 50-60 somethings... Ya see.. you will always be a "kid" to us.... and we'll always be old to you.

Best to leave the age stuff out.... our cars are, or will be soon, 20 somethings... that's enough

Re: Met an older owner today,

If I remember My OLD 5th grade teacher ( Old Miss Brown )was probably in her late 30s. Funny how when you are 5 Old is 20 and when you are 68, 50 is young

Re: Met an older owner today,

I guess I'm in the older owners' group. I was 40 when the SVX 1st came out and couldn't afford one then. Almost 20 years later, I finally have one.

Was it worth the wait? Time will tell, but after a few months with it and some serious setbacks, like an engine rebuild, I'm committed.

But not ready yet to be committed.
