Re: Lambo doors on an SVX

900 would cover the cost of putting those doors on

"im not sure if the car is AWD but i know it is RWD ... car starts and motor is like new .. but needs new tranny asking "

i wonder if he managed to drift it on a track :P

Re: Lambo doors on an SVX

Seems to be in good condition. I would check those doors closely before buying. Makes sure everything works and lines up. Good 5 speed or 4.44 swap candidate. $900 would have been a very good price, ...people don't know what they have.

Re: Lambo doors on an SVX

Looks pretty nice. If the doors are on properly/ solidly, then a new tranny would create one more lovely operating SVX.

Might be me, but does that mechanism look like it would almost hit the front tire in a sharp turn.

Most likely he did it. The Car was from New Britain. Did you ever see this car in the wild? I think one of us could save it but I’m not sure it’s worth it at the price the new guy is looking for.

Re: Lambo doors on an SVX

I would love to save it . I have always been a fan of the Lambo and Gull Wing doors. $900.00 and another $3,000 and you would have an unusual SVX. Body looked like it is in good shape for that money he doesn't mention motor condition , interior or miles etc.

Re: Lambo doors on an SVX

I really HATE Craigslist flippers! I've missed a number of killer deals on CL cars only to find the SAME car for sale (often with the SAME PICTURES) by a different seller for twice the price the following day.

Here's my fav line from the ad though:

"It has a flat six that can be modified to fit into any Subaru."

How? By torching off the front two cylinders?

Re: Lambo doors on an SVX

It would make a great project car Earl doesn't have a Labo door one ...
Makes you wonder did the guy buying it and found out it was not as good as he thought and now has to dump it.
Pictures have no date . that could be the day after he got it back from the body shop .

Re: Lambo doors on an SVX

I wager the passenger door doesn't close or fit properly. Notice how it's open in every single picture?
