It's only the pics of the rack as I didn't have any attachments on it at the time.

I've been over Donner Summit a couple of dozen times with the SVX and never had to have the engine rev steady at 5,000+ RPM in 3rd gear. You must have been in 2nd to get that kind of RPM at 45-55mph.

Let me know if you need any more info on the roof rack.

Sorry to hear about your catatrophe, Mitch, I've recently had to re;place the tranny in my SVX as well. It's amazing, how much money we put in these things.... This finally put a permanent stop to my upgrades... Guess I learned the hard way to stop spending money on this car.

You may want to get some of your money back there...i got a remanufactured engine...from the suby dealership for 1800. Cost a whole lot for labor, but that's to be expected.
