Cruise Contol unit not keeping constant.

I have noticed that when the car is in cruise the the throttle is opening and closing. It seems from the manual that the valve in the vac pump is not holding constant due to a leaking valve. I looked up the part and couldn't find a price on a new unit. Anyone ever figured out how to pull the units apart?

I only ask this because you didnt mention it.
Did you check the cable at the throttle body to make sure its tight on the bracket?

Re: Cruise Contol unit not keeping constant.

Yes, what happens is the cable is a bit lose is when you set the cruise it takes over at a slitly lower speed then you wanted. On my car I have a vacuum guage and when the car is in cruise you can what the vacuum go up and down slightly. I also noticed the same problem on one of my other SVX's as well. Tried to find the price of a new one but can't find it listed.
