Recomendations on good work rain gear?

I don't want to tear my good stuff up, and I havn't found any good local shops where I can actually see/touch what is out there, I'm looking for something along the lines of #5 on this page and a pair of good pants, all I fine at home dummy is PVC, and I don't want to hang out in a pipe all day when I gotta work in the rain something breathable would be nice

Does anyone have products that you use or know of? Something that is durable?

I use Helly Hanson all of the time and it is very good gear. I don't think you will find much better. Just my thought.

Don't overlook boating/sailing gear from a ship chandlery, boat shop, whatever. This stuff has been really tested and the boating fraternity are very choosy.

Depending on what you do, Carhart is good work stuff for guys that work.
Tractor Supply has a good line to look at and touch.
A lot of Gore-tec thinsulation, good wearing, tough, machine washable, reasonably waterproof, etc
Oh yea, and kinda cheap.

Carhartt overalls (Insulated good for cold weather but cost more), spray with silicone waterproofing spray, especially the butt area, you'll stay warm and dry!

Earl- Thanks for the confirmation!

Trevor- Links to look at! Thanks, I'll poke arround, I looked at WestMarine.com, and there is a local store...er...an hour? away, near the BMW Motorcycle dealership

Jerry- My last cheap suit is keeping the water out of my old Ford 2N engine I want something that won't rip and soak me on the first day, I do prety much whatever I want, and I'll pay for it! I do whatever comes up, last week a friend wanted some help cleaning out a back yard, so I took the tractor over there for a couple days, and got drenched in a constant mild rain I also do a bit of powerwashing with my "little" 24hp hotsey and whatever else I can fit in, I want to quit, but people keep offering me money to do stuff and living in the country means a bit of work and ditch cleaning in the rain to make sure the water goes where it should, collect firewood, of just get outside, january is usually wet here and I'm here almost 24/7, so I get bored

Rebecca- At first I thought it was a trash bag, but then I realized it was an All Wheel Drive trash bag

Interesting! I have similar clothing, but from Duluth Trading Company, and love their insulated pants for winter! Just like long underware, but without the spandex effect
