Cool The BIG project begins

Here's some teaser pics of what I have begun to work on.

I'm not releasing any specs or anything too detailed for awhile on what I'm doing exactly(All I'll say is: Supercharged,Intercooled), But I just wanted to let it be known that it is in the making and give you all something new to look forward too. Damn this is going to be FUN!

200-300 ballpark. It depends on the application, how it's mounted, etc. Really sophisticated stuff, you probably wouldn't understand

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, scotch in one hand, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming HOOOOYA !!!!!

Correct, Svxfiles made the grill and I traded him for it over a year ago.

Is a big muscle car style hood scoop part of the plan?

I'll probably custom something up for the hood scoop, But I expect the S/C to drop about 1/2 -1" below where it is now on the manifold I'll be making for it so the scoop won't have to be so tall. I still may mount it on the drivers side though in place of the battery like Svxfiles did his, It just depends.

budfreak, I'd look at the new aftermarket roots style kits for the 2005 mustang.... they use a a shaft drive to turn the blower around so the inlet faces front.... Not saying to buy one, but copy the idea.

I'm thinking there is a pile of power to be had if you get a clean intake path into the blower... and it lets you put the blower right back at the firewall where you have more room to the bottom of the hood.

Yeah, A shaft drive was part of the original plan and may still happen depending on where I choose for a final mounting point.
