Climate Control Code

It was a warm enough today to test the A/C on my Silver project. It doesn't blow cold, so I pulled the codes. The 13, is clear and expected. The 41 is off the charts. Any ideas?

p.s. Don't you hate the search function on this forum?

Looking at the manual, perhaps it is going into the operational test sequence which starts with a display of 41. This is only documented as occurring after the '00', or no fault code is displayed. I'll check further tomorrow.

Yes, the search function could be improved. It is the best we have right now.

What are the settings referred to here?
http://www.vbulletin.com/docs/html/main/search_type

Changing the shortest setting to 2 would inable searching for 'code 11' or 'cd player' without it throwing away the most critical terms.

Isn't there a setting somewhere to limit the number of results returned? This is a much more effective way to reduce the server resources used for requests that are not sufficiently targeted.

And what about this, which doesn't seem to be implemented?
http://www.vbulletin.com/docs/html/m...search_phrases

It's not really clear, does this enable searching for phrases?

Google is state of the art, but is blocked from indexing the forums, so it can't be used. Is the concern server time used by the robot? Perhaps allowing Google access to the technical forum alone would greatly improve searching capability?

Most of the info returned regarding the integration of Google and vBulletin is focused on Adsense for SEO (search engine optimization), but I beleive most of it would still apply. More research would be required. There is even a plug-in available from Google. Has anyone looked into this?

Well, the manual is not clear about this, but whatever code it shows, including but not limited to '00', when the off and auto are pressed again it goes into it's operations check sequence. The first step displays the 41. To get the test to be performed, press the def button. The rest of the tests are stepped through by pressing the def button.

The "41" is not an error code. It's only 1 of several diagnostic steps. Codes range from 00 (no errors) to 35.
