I took that picture around midnight 2 months ago at haines Point which is in Washington DC. The sculpture is called "the Awakening". It is about to be dug up and moved to the DC waterfront, on the other side of the river. Part of a 2 billion dollar plan for that side of town.

I took the shot using availible light with about a 2 second shutter speed.

The car has to be seen to be appreciated. Essentially it turns heads no matter where I have taken it, from the most urban of settings to the high brow 4 Seasons and such. Driving it is a blast, 6 speed hurst with 400 horsepower equals very illegal fun if you let it get away.

The pictures don't quite show the true essense of the car. A few purist thought it a cartoon car. 99% of the rest of the world wondered what the heck it was and man is that thing cool.





I'll post some more vintage stuff later tonight. Yesterday I took over 1000 pictures at a Ferrari rally, a Mustang show and a private shoot of a modified 01 Vette convertible. My fingers got tired!
