Bought a Black SVX

so, I decided to buy a black SVX 1992 LSL (130,000 miles). I'm going to transfer the engine(111,00) and the transmission(1,500 miles old) into the Black SVX. Why? because it's cheaper then fixing all the body work on my silver 1992 SVX. I bought the SVX for $500 without the engine and bad tranny (GREAT DEAL). The body on the Black SVX is great, unlike mine; it has no dents, dings, or previous accidents. While the engine is being transfered I'm doing the following. Valve cover gaskets, oil seal, main seal, timing belt and tensioner. Any suggestions for what else I should replace while the engine is out? Thanks for any ideas.

p.s. the exhaust on the Black SVX was removed . Which sucks cause my exhaust is too loud and needs new center cat. So I'm still looking for a good center cat or exhaust, anybody????

Sugestion

Make sure you have new plugs in it as well, the #6 is a ***** to get to... and if you are replaceing the timing belt do the water pump and thermostat at the same time.. it takes like ten more minutes and it is worth the effort of not having to take it apart again.

I forget the brand but they're platnum plugs. Pretty sure it came with them from the factory.
Might wanna replace whatever sensors you can while you have the engine out, that way if it throws codes for something once you reinstall the engine, you know it isnt because a sensor is damaged
Also might be a good idea to go ahead and detail the engine bay..itll be your only chance to really make it shine
Another random tip....Get an oem subaru filter. apparently the factory filters for (Prettymuch all cars) are much better than the junky Fram deals you can pickup at autozone or w/e

You're gone but not forgotten. I mean, sure, I kindof don't remember some of the finer details..but I remember you were funny, and at one point you said spaghetti in Dutch....but definantly not forgotten

Thank you, I didn't even think of detailing the empty engine bay. Thanks for the idea.

No one that I can recall has ever had a problem with the stock NGK platinum plugs.
