Ok - I checked the plugs. They looked clean. clean for a spreak to the engin block. Sparking looks good. The clicking is new but not very loud.

I drove it for a few miles and it labored when accelerating. It will stall occationally at a stop sign or while the car is coasting.

I stall once would not restart on three trys so I unpluged and repluged the connector on top of the fuel pump access hole. It started after that, but I'm not sure that what I didn't made the difference.

It is probably something simple, but this is turning into the repair from hell.

I drove the car for a few miles and it labored on acceleration. Stalled sometimes at stop signs or while coasting. Once it did not restart after a stall (I tryed 3X's) then I pull and repluged the connector on top of the fuel pump access hole. I started.

It probably is something simple but so far it is the repair from hell.

No I have not checked the fuel pressure, other than letting it flow into a bottle at the fuel filter input. How do you check it. Is there a gauge I can buy and where does it connect to test?

Thanks for the help.

Find the component which is clicking. Listen with a hose as a make shift stethescope. Is it the By-pass Air Control Solenoid Valve which controls the idle air inlet? As I see it, you have a definite suspect item and you must locate it.

I tested the fuel pressure 35 PSI when you turn the key on and 25 psi when the engine is running. While the engine is running the psi guage bounces around 25 psi. I can't hear the clicking noise anymore but the engine is laboring and hard to accelerate. Last time I drove it it wasn't stalling but still idles rough. I guess I'll keep digging. Thanks
