What kuoh said. If your awd isn't working, do a search on "solenoid c"...

The most entertaining way is to wait for a good 6"+ snow storm and go out and do some zero radius doughnuts. Well not quite zero radius, but the inside front wheel will stay in place while the car pivots around it. But if you live in a warmer climate, then you'll have to look for a dirt or very wet road and see whether you launch or just get front wheel spin. I'd avoid gravel if you value your paint job.

Just step on the gas at a traffic light and see if the tires spin

I can cause my fronts to spin in the rain if i hit the gas fast enough and the RPM goes to about 2000. I can't take off fast in the rain

Ahh.. Ok, yeah I got no tire spin on my '92 ever.

Actually. I did once, when it was wet... i was barreling up this street to go home, and i have to do a hard "almost" U-turn corner (conveinently, its a very wide corner mind you) and i did just a beautiful power slide around the corner with all 4 wheels spinning haha.

If the legend continues in Idaho, the longer it stays pleasantly warm into October and November, the worse the snow fall and colder the temps once December hits. I am patiently waiting for snow. Lotta doughnut holes to be performed this winter.
