The red off my center caps

Ok i have aftermarket rims...konig traffiks....you can see pics in my locker. They have red rings in the middle to hide the lugs. Over time the red on the rear right ring has faded and its all silver and chrome and looks alot better IMO. I wanna get the red off the other 3 rings and make them silver like my rims are. Ive tried paint thinner and scrubbing but the red doesnt seem to wanna come off. Any ideas on what i can do?

Significant Technical Input Registered SVX Classic SVX
Start with about 600 grit wet/dry paper (black) to get rid of the paint and go up to about 1200-1500 grit to get out any scratches.

A dremel tool with a jewelers rouge (or regular automotive rubbing compound) should work well also

I could actually tell the shop to do it when their repainting my spoiler next week sometime. Still gotta take it in for estimates but they shouldnt charge a whole lot to have it done. I could ask them to paint em red like the car to have it match.
