SVX on front page

The Sunday Sacramento Bee has a picture of a SVX at Lake Tahoe being dug out of its snow cave by its owner, Stan Ross of Clayton, Ca. My wife recognized the car sooner than I did. Is he on the list? That AWD either helped him get to that point or he is hoping it will help him get out.

I just want a little bit of that stuff. We had about two inches over the weekend, but, wouldn't you know that KYDOT was chomping at the bit to turn their salt trucks and graders loose. The roads were clear by the time I woke up in the morning. In the meantime, we're expecting 45 and clear tomorrow and up to 54 by Wednesday. That's warm, even for us, at this time of year. Darn it, this is the first winter my AWD has been operable since I got the car. HEY YOUZE GUYZ IN NEW YORK! SEND ME SOME OF YOUR SNOW, WOULDJA?!?!?

Cool shouldn't be that great

i don't think that X was that great. the snow was as thick as half-height of the wheels. the snow was blocking the front bumper.
it shouldn't be the car help him to that point(look at the windshield). it also shouldn't be the car try to help him get out of that. look at the big lumps behind and beside him. there're the cars inside. my guess is, he just woke up in the morning and tried to clear the snow and went out.

the snow in the picture looks dry and hard to me. come to my place, i bring you to the hills to test your awd . while it was just snowing, there's not salt truck for those roads. that's real slippery with the wet snow(better walk carefully). the ABS actually doesn't help at all. i can't believe that i could conquer that steep with my 'fwd' running awd svx on that blizzard night.

PS: i've to believe that my awd svx has no awd after tonight. i'm gonna post my problem in the techincal site pls give some ideas and help. thanks in advance.

HELP I'm stuck on the bottom of your hill

I got the phone call last night. I rode to the rescue in my trusty steed. While the onlookers in their monster 4X4's watched in amazement at the sight of this wonderfully sleek sexy car easily cruised back UP the hill.

What a WONDERFUL machine it is.........

Heck, Beav, if that's your only objection, I'll send you one of those funky little umbrella hats to wear while you're workin'. That ought to go over well with the shop boys. BRING IT ON!!!

Send all the snow in the world to KY. I need to go find me an AWD first. Then all the snow can come to Chicago.

Thanks Lwin. I appreciate that. But, wait 'til the temperature drops. Otherwise, it'll just come down as rain (YUK!). Temps will be near 50 again today -- that's actually very warm for us. Of course, I'm not complaining 'bout the 'lectric bills like I usually am, this winter.
