Can anyone recommend some foglights?

I need a good set of fog/driving lights... Something about this haze over my headlights that doesn't really help much at night.... But yeah... I need a decent set of aftermarket driving lights. The fog lights on the car, even 100w bulbs don't seem to do anything.

Fog lights are only for foggy conditions, so they won't help much if it isn't foggy. Driving lights sound like what you want.

Anyway, before you do any of that, stop by a car store, and pick up some "No 7 CHROME POLISH" for about 3-5 bucks. It's a white bottle with a red cap. Take a clean cloth, pour some on it, and start scrubbing your headlights like crazy. You'll be amazed.

You tried chrome polish? It works much better than plastic polish. Anyway, if you have tried that, order the clear headlight kit from small car!

No problem. Here's another: Do it at least once a month to keep them looking decent. You'll always pull of a yellow haze of oxidized plastic.

If you're out somewhere and have a long drive ahead but don't have any polishing compound handy, try this one:

Put a little motor oil on a rag and rub into your headlights vigorously. Voila... excellent temporary fix. Not as good as polishng them out but it works in a pinch...

Oh... if you're still interested in fog lamps, check these out... by far the highest performance, bang-for-the-buck driving lamps that work stylistically with the SVX.

The Hella FF75 driving (not fog) lamp:

The lamps in queston are the flatter ones... with the rounded ends. Very low-key and unobtrusive.

Check out www.svxworldnetwork.org and check out how-to section.

It'll tell you how to clean up the inside.
