I have Drive magazine and read the 'History of Suby' article. I did not get the impression that they think it was a failure. I get the impression that they think they tried something that wasn't their forte and then went back to their roots (wagons).

I get the impression that the SVX was technically more than they expected but overall it was less than they hoped for.

I thought the SVX "mention" was on the light side but then again I am biased. I think Subaru lost a small fortune on the SVX just in the rust proofing alone.

The B11S (BS-11) is ugly. I do not like that grill. It is not class or a timeless style. I don't want to buy a car called GUT. That is something that grows around ones middle section.

Where do I send my comments?

the snooty 911 owners hated it even more because it was supposed to replace the 'ol air-cooled 911.

I guess I 'll have to design & build a vehicle which falls into the category of FART or Fabulously Alarming Retarded Transporter.
i want a SLUT - Sport Luxury Utility Vehicle.

Uhhhh...Alan. I think you meant to say Sport Luxury Utility TRUCK.
I ain't never seen no headlights on a SLUV.

You're welcome, Ron.

I don't want a GUT ( I've alredy got a doozie). I don't want a SLUT. I want my next vehicle to be a SLOB.
A SLOB is a SPORT LUXURY OVERLAND BLOB. I think a Mercury Sable falls nicely into this category. The problem is, that if you drive a SLOB too fast; you may wind up driving a SLAB (Single Linear Asphalt Block)

Can't...fight...urge!

"Hey honey! Come see the SLUT I just picked up at the dealers!"

"I wouldn't be caught dead taking a SLUT to a restuarant like that!"

"You thought she satisfied on the highway? I took my SLUT to the mountains and what a ride! I found a hill that ran straight up like a pole and she just sucked it up!"

"I tell ya, bro, when it comes to playing with my SLUT, the rougher it is the better she likes it!"

"Hey! I know she's dirty but a real SLUT is supposed to be!"

"Buying that SLUT was the best decision I could have made. Sliding myself inside her is like having an org@sm."

"Each time I slip into my SLUT is like the first time!"

...ahh! Now that that's out of my system I'm good to go.

..for now.

"segway"

I was struck by the smooth one sentance segway OUT of the SVX..

"And if anyone thought that the SVX introduction meant that Subaru had turned its back on its roots, the Impreza soon followed."

I'd say Subaru turned its back on the SVX.

Oh... and I TRIED to spell that word correctly, but I couldn't find it in my dictionary.

Impressive!

I KNEW somebody would know to spell that. Word wasn't much help and because I couldn't figure out how to spell the beginning I couldn't even look it up.

I was thinking of looking in the 'q's but I got tired and gave up.

Thanks Adam.

I MISS that old spell checker....

ya, we are the lost son owners, i think we should just bring them to trial and make "SVX" the make of the car as well. I mean some kids have good luck divorcing their parents!
