Looking to Buy SVX. Questions

I'm looking to purchase an SVX within a few days. How reliable of a car is it? I read about the warping rotors, wheel bearing issues, transmission issues. I'm just wondering if there is anything else that i should know before getting in one. I'm a college student, and it would be a daily driver. Any input would be appreciated.
Thanks.
Jeff

get some ART cryo-treated slotted rotors and never worry about rotors again.

early cars had a fine screen in the stock tranny cooler that would clog and kill tranny's. the tranny is solid, but heat is the problem. get an aftermarket tranny cooler for $40-$60.

bearings come packed in a grease that is just for shipping, not installation. they fail quickly when they are installed with this stuff. they need to have this cleaned off and have the appropriate grease used. that's all i know about bearings - i'm at 66,000 miles with the originals.

as far as reliability, they are many SVX's with well over 200,000 miles still on the road, looking and driving good!

Thanks for the info. Now i'm just wondering if i'm getting ripped off:
a 95, not sure what trim model, awd though, 90,200 miles, about 5500 from a used car dealer, small upward pit on hood, and some other minor scratches. Car will be detailed so dealer says.

Sounds like a decent price depending on the condition and trim. Look on Autotrader.com to get more pricing info.
