Naw, but I am going to be organizing a group buy on DMS 40mm single adjustable pieces and 50mm double adjustable pieces thanks to my on-going relationship with DMS North America. Stay tuned.
-Bill
p.s. before anyone asks, DMS does not/will not build 40mm double adjustable pieces - already asked.

Maybe he's waiting for some feedback from us before he commits them to his normal product range...I'll give him a call this morning and let you know.

Matt,
See if he can do the 40mm in dual adjustable!
Thanks.

Tony/Matt,
Can you post some pics of the adjustment points for your front and rear dampers? I'm hoping the back dampers are adjustable "in-car"

All adjustments are made whilst the shock is "in-car", but you can't adjust them from within the car.

There is an adjustment at the bottom of each shock. It's a two part nut, with one nut adjusting bump (30 clicks in my case) and one adjusting rebound (4 clicks).

http://www.dmshocks.com/default.asp?id=18

This link shows the adjustments that all DMS have.

And I should add, this link shows the difference in why the 40mm have only one adjustment (doing both adjustments at the same time) and the 50mm have the individual adjustments.

I misunderstood your question Bill, so they don't do the 40mm with the dual adjustment, sorry.

In the start I was going to get 40mm units but Jamie DMS talked me out of it. His point was for best performace the 50mm give you so many adjustments. My guess on bulk buy you guys would only be looking at $700 difference for the four between 40mm and 50mm.

Matt/Tony,
thanks for the responses...I'm working with Mark Moore of DMS NA and I think we're getting much closer to "being on the same page"

Request - could you talk to Jaime and see if he can't provide Mark with the spring plots for the DP/MG and KST springs he's suggesting we use on the SVX? I'd like to see how they compare to the linear GC springs (365#F and 325#R) folks are using with their Koni inserts. Given the use here (street and autoX), I think we're probably going to lean heavily to just using the KST springs (single progressive). Could you also ask Jaime about how the rebound tracks with the bump adjustment on the 40mm pieces? I'm very interested in being able to set my car up so it basically "locks down" while out on the autoX course (big time slow rebound ) without the car getting so stiff in bump that the car's tires bounce (i.e., turns into a go cart)
Oh, and another thing, can you ask Jaime about suspension velocity histograms for the 40mm pieces, I'd like to know what it's going to take to get to roughly 65% critical damping..

-Bill
