SVXers Poll: Who ya voting for if anyone?

Couldn't find a thread that wasn't too charged up about this so maybe we can vote anonymously and not post comments. Then we can submit the results to CNN.

We need a third party. Desperately. The reason both candidates suck is because of the 2 party system.

Greenmarine: Instead of not voting, how about just voting third party? There's no way he's going to win, but it WILL succeed in two respects:

1. It'll almost be like you telling both parties you're sick of their crappy candidates

2. If nader gets 7% of the vote, he'll be fully funded, and I'm pretty sure you'd rather have THREE choices instead of just two.

I'm voting for Bush. If not for him we'd all be dead. Dead people aren't affected by the economy, medicare, social security, or education. Get it?

If you don't like either of the major candidates (and I don't blame you), then please at least just pick a random third party guy and vote for him. Even if you don't like him, the more support the other parties get, the stronger they'll be in the next election. That way we might just see a day when someone else stands a chance.

I guess I can see the importance of voting for atleast one person... Well if the time comes then I'll probably vote for 3rd party... I hate the people that have been president lately... If there was just someone that is:

-Pro National Defense, not "World police"
-Pro Education
-Pro alternate means of energy (Nuclear, Hydrogen, fuel cell)
-And told the truth all the time instead of playing nice People lover during the election then doing his own thing when it comes time to do his job....

I wonder what it would be like with a Woman in office??? Any Black candates??? That would be interesting too... We just need to get away from what the two parties have become...

you cant deny that they had the programs, just that they may not have the weapons can be your case. They also had months to get rid of them if they did indeed have them. They were on they;re way facility wise, and we all know hussain had the money.

That's not exactly right. Since Nader isn't running under a "national" party (i.e. Reform in some states, indie in others) you're actually wasting your vote if you vote for him thinking you'll be able to provide funding. The party has to be national. Vote either Liberatarian or Green if you wanna try for funding. 3% gets/ keeps these parties on the ballot in most states (which in reality since 70% of what happens to ya happens locally is much more important).
