Smile Water to Hydrogen for fuel.

In my quest to get better gas mileage I came across this site:
http://www.spiritofmaat.com/archive/feb2/carplans.htm

The site has information on how to build a device to seperate water into H+H+O and then burn it in an engine.

They claim it can be made by a DIYer.

One draw back is the exhaust will have water in it. So the exhaust valves and cast iron ring piston rings and CI cyclinder liners will rust.

So I am thinking about trying this with a combination of H2O and dino fuel so that it doesn't rust.

I think I can build most of the component except for the electronic parts. Them I am not too sure about.

Anybody know anything about this?
Do you know anyone that has tried it?

I was trying to find a forum on this subject but no luck so far.

Let me know if you wnat to join in. I think my old Legacy will be the test vechicle.
