A beauty in Phoenix, AZ
Here's a nice find in AZ...looks to be in wonderful condition. I don't know the owner nor have I seen it myself, but the mileage and photo would tell me it's a good one!

That's a 94-97 Bordeaux. The only 92 claret I am aware of with the tan interior belonged to Mike621.

VIN, sent to me by the seller, indicates it is a 1992 model. I ran a NMVTIS check through AutoDataDirect that also confirms a clear title for a 1992 SVX. The owner said it has body damage on the driver's side and that the driver's side automatic seatbelt does not work.

The photograph in the craigslist ad is a photo from the website cargurus.com. I didn't think there was anyplace near Phoenix that looked like the location in the photograph. So, the car being advertised IS NOT the car in the photograph. greg

So was it repainted or was the interior replaced.. I do like that combo better than the way MA Subaru did it.

It is my belief that the car in the photograph was not repainted, nor was the interior replaced. If you go to
http://www.cargurus.com/Cars/1992-Su...509#pi16475296 you will find the photograph used in the craigslist ad. Even though cargurus.com has the photograph filed (displayed) in the section for 1992 SVXs, it it probably just their (cargurus) error. I suspect the photograph should be filed in section for a later model year. What condition is the car being advertised in? Only the owner knows. He tells me he is unable to provide additional photographs. greg

If the owner is unwilling or can not provide additional photo, that should raise a huge RED FLAG to anyone interested ... Not to speak of using a photo of ANOTHER car to advertise ...
