i dont know what a pro would charge to go to a junkyard, pull a windshield and install it to. as for my broken windshield, i was thinking of just taping the inside, or quickly cleaning it, and putting a roll of window tint over most of it to hold it together in case the worst happens.

so oyu really think cutting the roof and pillars near the fenders would break the window? im thinking safest bet is justa standard removal.

I was referring to the installation being done by a professional. It would be a pity if the windshield in the new one broke, but its a junker...

Window tint sounds like a decent idea though

I would say you should let a pro handle it from removal to installation.

I would touch an engine but never a glass.

the more i think about it, the more im with you... ill have to call around, im pretty sure some of the places around here would pull it too.
