thanks Beav

after picking up my car and seeing a bill for 442.18, i asked the mechanic if there is anything he can do about that warr. he said that he would put a call in and tell them that i had a similar problem with my oil pump. he is going to see if he can get me some money back. he said that since my oil pump looked good i wouldn't have a problem any time soon with it, so it would be a safe bet.

what i really liked about this mechanic is that he totally look over my engine with a fine comb and told me the problems..all minor, no big deal kinda things. but i want to get them all fixed. most of the problems are covered under my warr. most of them are small leaks because of old seals. he told me that my svx is in the best shape engine wise that he had seen in a long time he also told me that he hasn't found many girls that know anything about cars let along keep them in good condition.

if anyone near or in warren county NJ needs a good svx mechanic...let me know

Kelli

You're just getting hit on, literally, left and right it seems.

For the rest of us who don't look good in high heels or a short miniskirt.....well let's just say that the comb probably would be put somewhere where the sun doesn't shine much instead of our engine compartment.

strange but true

Kelli,

Your comment about getting away with murder reminded me of a friend of mine who is a police officer. He once told me that when he pulls over a pretty girl, she gets a ticket. Why? Because everyone else lets them go........

Significant Technical Input
Happy to hear you're happy and that you found a good guy to work on your car.

BTW - I either wear deck shoes or sneakers to work. Boots are too hot and heavy. And with my big feet it's hard to work the pedals in a lot of cars while wearing boots.

I look good in shorts and work boots but I get nowhere with guys. Not that there's anything wrong with that. :

People say I have nice looking legs. Too bad the rest of me isn't that good looking.

PS: My work boots are engineer (toot-toot) boots.
PPS: Ron don't go there

route 57 right after the villa roller rink and before cherry brook on the right hand side, right next to the little graveyard....Broadway Auto.. they come from me highly recomended

as for the rest of you....why is it when a guy is nice to a girl...he is flirting with her and when a girl is nice to a guy, that means she wants something. i try to be nice to everyone because being nasty gets you no where...unless you are dealing with a certain jack*** that rearends you while you are stopped at a traffic light..but that is a different story
