Yes Joe, I am leaving on the 15th of August. The last trip was a bit of a test run and holiday. My wife and I are still speaking after the last drive so I think we will be okay together on the next. Happy for any sponsorship Joe.

Well 1 week to go and slowly getting the car ready, here is a photo of the car decked out still have a few more job but its stating to look good.

Have the trip metre installed and ready to go. Still have to sort out the flashing light on the roof, install the fire extinguisher and give the old girl an oil change then load up ready to go.

That switchgear looks like it powers up the radar, deploys countermeasures and engages afterburner...

...you're only missing the switches for the cannon and missiles. Might I suggest the M61 Vulcan autocannon, and FGM-148 Javelin? Proven platforms, and used by the ADF.

Yea looks a bit wild but they all have a reason, a lot of it is for the development of the race car.
3 guages are return water temp from radiator to engine, temp from engine into radiator & vacum gauge helps with sorting problems.
- Dial is the rate of drive front to back for DCCD gearbox, light is to show its on also light on dash left side shows car is in 4WD.
- switches top row - power to Terrtrip, Driving lights & reverseing light
- bottom row switchs to turn on DCCD controller, slow cooling fan, medium cooling fan (when both on fans run in high speed).

Its all has a purpose.

Okay I decided to continue this thread and add each trip instead of starting a new one each time.

We are home have traveled 11,600 k in 18 days. Had a few car problems mostly casued by myself and lack of planning. Will supply photo etc when I get a chance.

Wow Tony,

The car looks amazing and so tough.

Whenever I am scared of breaking my SVX, I think of your car and the video of you attempting a climb up a rotten dirt 4WD track, even a Hummer would struggle to attempt!!!

You can tell "Dom's" that my SVX is going strong now and am thankful for the discount - the repairs/upgrades have cost a LOT. LOL!!

How is the car now? More photos please!!
