ECU stage 1 questions?

is it a good thing?
more power?
better gas mileage?
as good gas mileage when switched to regular fuel?
as much power when switched to regular fuel?

if responding please state if you have in the past or are currently a user.

is it a good thing? YES
more power? YES
better gas mileage? Can't say my O2's are shot
as good gas mileage when switched to regular fuel? I have not tried
as much power when switched to regular fuel? I have not tried

It all so fixes the 5 speed stall and raises the RPM for fuel cut. I've had the chip in my car for over a year and I like it.

I've had the 1V4 in my car for about 2 yrs now.
Is it a good thing? Definitely! Much improved low end response.
more power? Butt-dyno says YES!
better gas mileage? No measured difference.
as good gas mileage when switched to regular fuel? Haven't tried it yet.
as much power when switched to regular fuel? Same as above.

I didn't feel a big difference. I'm not a big fan in upgrading, had many disappointments. I prefer keeping it STOCK.

to save a little on the cost of gas, I would get the thing. Regular is about 25 c cheaper here and better than a dollar a day would quickly add up. If regular would be as good to use, would go! If not, would not be a consideration. That is the reason for this quest!

I just need to know

Others including myself use regular with no problem. I sometimes don't even activate the switch to regular and the car runs fine. But that's my experience.
If you find one cheap, try it. Good luck.
