Question Anybody bought A/C parts from these guys?

I have been told I have a bad A/C compressor. I will be doing the work at an Air Force Base auto hobby shop (they diagnosed the problem). So far the cheapest rebuilt unit I have found is from this site

http://www. airpartsonline.com

at $263.10 plus $50 refundable core charge.

My question is if anybody has ever bought from them, or knows of a recommended alternative.

When I used to have a business dowm there I dealt mainly with cold air dist. - the nearest whse. I can think of near you would be in Ft.Pierce.

When you leave Patrick do you prefer Brassy's or the Thirsty Turtle? (been to too many bahs, apparently)

Beav,

My local parts place checked with them and they want 400 plus core for a rebuild. 1stSubaru has a new unit for 430. Any advice?

By the way, I think I must be an impossible specialist, because it almost always turns it was impossible for me to do whatever.

It's apparently been too long since I've bought parts down there, Cold Air used to be the best priced.

If I were in your shoes and couldn't find a better price, I'd go with them. Use a credit card, hopefully one like AmEx, that doubles the warranty.
