Svx 5spd vs Accord w H22 swap

I good friend of mine has a 90 Accord (female too) ...
we use to race once in a while. Her car, stock 2.2L, 5 spd with an exhaust, plug wires, no cat...and intake, I would edge her out by 3/4 track and win. The same race with her using a 50 shot of Zex and she would spank me. Me using my pearl automatic car.
Since those days, she has installed a JDM H22 190 hp DOHC Prelude motor with Vtech ( a common swap in those cars). I raced her today a few time with my silver 5 spd car. Was she as surpised as I was.....I pulled her about 2 car lengths thru 2nd gear, we got almost thru 3rd, buy then she was creeping up on me,
but it didnt look that threatening. Same results in all 3 trys. She has the same mods as her old motor ( but no nitrous this time. but needs to get a vtech controller and have the car tuned) and all I had was a K&N drop in filter and our exhaust system. We have plans to do another few runs from a 20 mph roll to 100, should be interesting.
We tried one run from a stoplite....my car shot outta the hole so hard it was over before it had begun. My employee has a 93 Civic hatch with an LS Vtech Integra motor thats one of the faster Hondas in town......we havent raced yet, but we plan on going head to head by the weekend. Our dragstrip is open friday...Ill take some pics too!

your friends civic.....

is very well done. i like the fat fender treatment. sounds like your 5-speed conversion has really helped the car of the line. it will be interesting to see some 1/4 mile times.

what's the purpose of the scoop on the top of the civic?
or is it simply a visual mod?

It could be made to direct air inside the car, but its more of
just a cosmetic item and to be a little different. Looks like I wont be racing him anymore, he ran a 13.9 on all motor tonite at the track with some weight removed from the interior !! Props to my employee on having the fastest Honda in Tucson...(all motor).
I didnt take the 5spd SVX.....but will be out there soon hoping for high 14s...haha DOH!
