This site has grown super huge and gets tons of traffic every day. Chris, our admin, has been paying for the connection out of his own pocket the whole time.

We need to upgrade our connection to handle all of the increased traffic or the network is going to get verrrry slow. Should Chris pay for all of this personally? And administer the site, deal with the maintenance? I certainly hope that you don't think so. Until the offical club gets formalized and collects some member dues, we are relying on your donation of startup funds to keep things going.

Unfortunately, I don't think I have that power. However, I've noticed it has been placed on the main page (I suppose by Sith -- thanks Sith!).

I just sent in my donation, and hope that this will help. How are the donations comming? Are you getting what is needed - at least in the near future? Hope you are getting enough, and if not, give another update and apeal for more. Thank you for all of your efforts and work. I know that there is lots of work done behind the normal works of this forum. I appreciate it.

I just want to thank all who've contributed -- those who've posted, and those who haven't. If we have to start depending on commercials, deadeye, then, I'm outta here.

As long as we have great people here, who are willing to help, I don't think we'll have to worry about sorting through wireless camera ads, nor being reminded how old we're getting by having to sort through those dastardly life insurance pitches.

Folks, I'm going to try to keep the ball rolling here. We've received several donations. Thank you all. I don't know the official talley, but, I'm sure Steve will post that info once he has the chance.

Again, we are trying to get all our ducks in a row, legally, and all that, to create a Bona Fide SVX club. Your donations will help with legal fees and so forth on the road to creating that entity.

Also, your donations will go to helping to equip these forums, which has been on the shoulders of one person to this point. None of us like to be solicited. And I hate to have to solicit, but, in order to keep the forums going (we're beginning to run out of space y'all), we'll need all the help we can get. So, if you've got a dollar or two you could throw in the kitty, we'd certainly appreciate it.

All donations, no matter how large or small are appreciated. Again, this is not "Dues" per se -- but, your name will go on a special Roll for recognition at a later date, once we get the whole dues thing figured out and our official charter filed.
