It is on the left side of the steering wheel. There will be 3 buttons next to each other. The cruise control activation button, the fog lights, and closest to the steering wheel, the security switch. When the system is active, the red light will blink. When it is inactive, it will stay red the whole time.

If yours is a Canadian SVX then you don't have a security system.

It won't go in the set mode to do that, the light stays on will not blink at all, when i push the buttom in the light goes out, it acts like a relay is stuck in the open position or someting in that effect.

Is there a relay besides the control module with this security, and are all 1992 behind the glove box, I would hate to have to pull all this out if there is somewhere else to look for fix. or is it better just to get a aftermarket one to replace this one, what type is the easier to do, don't need the remote start, just the lock and unlock with sound.
Thanks if anyone can help

Well there is a fuse in the module, 2amp buss type and it was blown out so all i done was replace the fuse and wella fix, glove box was not all that bad.About a 35 minute job, not bad for a senior citizen.
