To answer your question on cars, I would like the following cars sitting in my garage next to my SVX:
1) 2002 Subaru Outback VDC H6 with tow hitch and an enclosed trailer into which any one of these other cars can fit. 2) BMW 507 3) Ferrari Berlinetta Luso 4) 1955 Ford Crown Victoria 5) 1957 Ford Thunderbird 6) 1970 Olds Toronado SC 7) 1959 Chrysler/PininFarina Turbine II Car. There are 50 of them sitting on the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean in the Andrea Doria inside special high strength waterproof containers. The containers were designed and built to withstand undersea water pressure, just incase the ship sank. That's really forward thinking. Larry III |

Just out of curiosity, how did you find out that the cars were in the Andrea Doria? I thought that Chrysler had the cars dismantled and scrapped in Italy. Doug

Larry, I drove an Outback LLB the other day and realized that I'm too leggy for it. But I love the way the windows have no frames.
My choice? I'm not too picky. A (pristine) '70's Lotus Europa Coventry Climax. And a 308 Spyder.

Well, next to my SVX,
1988 Plymouth Colt DL wagon 4x4 with flaired fenders lowered 4 inches w/17 inch wheels and a 4g63 engine swap with the bolt on upgrades(400+hp) just to make people say 'what the?' 1987 Toyota MR2 with a turbo charged 4age.(maybe this summer ) and an exotic like the brand new Lambo, that thing is sweet, 400 ftlb of torque at 2600 rpm.

There used to be (maybe still is) a go cart track in Ft. Lauderdale that used Subie 360s locked in first gear for the race cars. Low power and as roly-poly as Humpty Dumpty, but they were fun to race.

(For a major "chubby" go here http://www.bugatti-cars.de/engl/index_cu.html and click on the logo. Go to "Renaissance" to read an interview with Giorgietto on the EB118. Then, be sure and click on all of the "Appearance" links to view Quicktime movies on the cars -- especially the Veyron! ) Also, if I sunk more into the realm of "reality" (but, still in the "not bloody likely" category) I truly and dearly want a Lambo Countach.

this is easy.
porsche 911 turbo beast with all-wheel drive and over 400hp
ferrari 550 Maranello - only one with a backseat. porsche 959 - needs no explanation bmw 850 - two doors, back seat, and a v-12 subaru svx gts - i would want the american lemans style body kit, racing suspension, wheels, brakes, twin or single turbo - which ever worked more efficiently, functional rear spoiler, racing dual exhaust......you know the works. (oh, and full time car mechanic that, he would need to work for free..... )

hey pockets.
i have actually considered tracking down a 850 but they are still around $40,000 and only getting rarer by the day. there is one here in memphis that has wide wheels, looks lowered, and just hauls ass. too bad it is so expensive......just out of my reach.
