At one time I had a Fiat 'Topo Giggio'.
It was a rather mousey little car.

paddlesnz: The Isuzu looks a bit like some older DeTomaso designs. It just sits higher on its suspension, but the lines look similar.

Well, besides the SVX and the TL1000-r, I now have an 87 MR2 so I'll be useing that(36mpg, 9 gallon tank of the cheap stuff) for work instead of filling the 18 gallon tank twice a week. I was going to get in on the Koni group buy, but then this MR came along and I couldn't pass it up.

My parents had a Saab 99 as well... They liked it, but it had lots of problems related to the turbo. I dont think they had it for more than a year.

My daily driver is a '91 Subaru Loyale wagon. Great little car with about 150,000 or so on it's clock. My wife used to have a '93 Loyale wagon, she traded it for a 2000 Ford Focus (nice little car, it'll haul ass). I've had Subarus for years now. Had a beautiful XT TurboTraction (don't want to get into that silly argument again, if anyone remembers). Great cars.

Current cars

are my ailing '91 SVX and Ann drives our Honda Civic Vtech. Also at the house is my Matra Murena 2.2, but it has not been run in a while. At my uncle's place I have a Bagheera X, it is laughlingly called a "restoration project". The Bagheera I have is actually a rare version of a rare car, with a wild 70's interior, part of what I like about it. Pictures are in my locker, the red Murena is mine, but the Bagheera pics are pics I borrowed off websites.

Had quite a few likeable cars, and bikes in my time, the most fun car being the Renault 5 GT Turbo . It did not handle as well as the SVX, but the brakes were way better, you could do looney things because you always knew you could pull up. SVX would not give this kind of confidence. Wish I had it back now!!

Joe
