and dustin, i must request that you change your signature. my insurance company believes i drive an SVS as well.

damn you and your SVS stealing ways!!

no i think im on allstate, soon to be something else though. my family hasnt had a very good experience with allstate lately.

No offense intended, but you're 17 and driving an SVX. I bet they're going to have a difficult time with any insurance company.

SVX insurance isnt higher than normal. My mom doesnt have any problems with insurance for my SVX and im not giving her any more money than i did when i was driving an accord. And my car is red as well....only reason im paying a little more is because i was in a accident with the accord so my insurance has gone up a little bit.....maybe an SVS is different though

When I got insurance on my SVX in NY, they had no idea what it was. They asked "Is it one of the wagons?" I said "sure is!" My insurance was cheap.

Some states and insurance companies use the 3 digit field to indicate model make and model. An LS-L may be designated as an SVS and the LS as an SVX. Saves computer space. If you own more than one of different models, but same year, I think you can confirm this.

Maybe, because they've gone down in value, the SVX doesn't cost what it used to to insure. I remember when I boguht mine in '99 the insurance company told me that they had a system to rank cars for cost - they called it a 'symbol' number. I believe the SVX was a 30 out of 32 or something for that company. They sure as hell charged a lot.

the problems have nothing to do with me or my car. their agent is a d*** so they've decided they want something else.
