There is an old thread that I started a while back about this topic. You can revive it or we can go with this.

Anywho, 2.19 per gallon

It is $2.09 per gallon in the Derby City. Thank God I quit delivering pizzas before I got this car!

It's about $1.95 to $1.98 per gallon for 93 octane where I am. I can let you know exactly this evening after I put some in my tank. I'm close to fumes now and dread the pump. :-\

Could be worse though. I could be paying what you guys pay.

2.25/gal for 93 Octane

Thanks EPA! Every spring and fall, gas price goes up because they switch to the "Summer Blend" that the EPA insisted on. Oddly enough, the EPA study finds that the blend actually create MORE pollution than it cures. They are in the works of changing the regulations, but they estimate it will take another 5 years until the regulations are passed and enacted.

Georgia's gasoline taxes are said to be among the lowest in the U.S., and historically, fuel here has always cost significantly less than just about anyplace I've traveled, so how come I'm suddenly paying sixteen cents per gallon more than New Jersey? For that matter, how come there's a ten-to-twenty cent difference between Atlanta's north and south side? Distrubution cost differences? Yeah, right.

Infuriating.

Is that the same Sinclair that wouldn't broadcast Ted Koppel's Night Line last week?

Anyway, its like 2.19 here. In my happy home town, like two oil companies rule the prices so they're like 5 or 6 cents more event though there is only a difference of liek 180 miles in the northward direction.

On a side note, last night I read that Chevron Texaco posted record high earnings but they said it's not cause of gasoline. Well, you know, they're so diversified in what they produce and sell.

I don't recall seeing a Sinclair station in this state since the time I drove Mom's Ford Galaxie into one on fumes and asked the attendant: "See if it'll hold ten dollars' worth."

Yes, a long time ago.

This morning regular was $1.94 and premium was $2.14.

We're getting really close to the prices we hit when I had my most expensive SVX fill-up ever - $35.

It cost $26 to fill the Legacy the other day.

The Justy costs me a whopping $14 lately. Ow.
