Well, it was bound to happen someday...

A co-worker of mine asked me yesterday why I had a picture of a Probe in my office. My response was "Get the F out of my office before I smack you!!!"

Actually, after telling him about it and showing him some more pictures, he finally understood why I wasn't willing to give up my Subaru to buy his BMW.

I am a pessimistic optimistic. I think the worst is going to happen, that way when it does, i don't feel as bad, but if the best happens, i am twice as happy.

wow, I was at a tire shop getting my new wheels and tires mounted and three diffrent people made guesses as to what my car was. I heard Eagle Talon(the old wheels were eagle wheels) mitsubishi and mazda. Ahh the smell of ignorance.
They were working all around the car and never saw a badge or logo or sticker.

I too, had the dubious distinction of being asked if my car was a Probe. Now it's a running joke between my husband and I whenever we see an actual Probe.

I got a parking ticket for my white "nissan". What kind of cop can't properly identify a parked car? If that wasn't bad enough the parts guy at auto zone was positive it was a Talon

I had that happen too, except for color the cop put DARK, Eagle Talon. I was like, oh my god, he never asked for registration or insurance he just took my license, you'd think if he ran the plate, but i doubt he did, he just felt like writing a ticket....

I had someone call mine a probe once, only once!

That ok because my 13 year old son and 6 of his friend all want one after they got a ride in it and I told them that the engine was all stock. Look out Hanover, PA more SVXer are coming.

They have all started looking in newspaper and online to find them.

last year, i was refueling and someone asked me about the windows. i told him they were great for driving down the highway at speeds of 100 mph or greater and he lectured me for driving so fast.

By police ... just so they can ask what kind of car I'm driving.

Friday I pulled into a Carl's Jr. Drive through (only place to get a low carb hamberger) And the kid asked me if I had lowered my car... I said "no, It came this way." and he said ... "must be expensive...." If he only knew.....
