Squeaking from RF

ok this vid hopefully you can hear the squeaking I have only heard this with bad brakes or something dragging on the rotor but I carefully checked the dust shield and it was not contacting the rotor.

Re: Squeaking from RF

Is there a wear indicator on the pads? Kind of a metal spring which will touch the rotor when the pads are worn enough.... it's purpose is to make a sound like that .

Kind regards,

Tapani

Could be a rust ridge on the back side of the rotor- I just removed one from my Impreza wagon this week that was causing an awful squeal.

Re: Squeaking from RF

Its a good thought on the brake pad wear indicator, however the pads are less then a year old, and so are the rotors, I took the car to the body shop on tue picked it up friday and that sound was going on.
