intermittent Starting issue

So I have a problem starting my car most of the time. I hear a clicking sound coming from the engine compartment but it won't crank. I replaced the starter which was bad a few days ago but the problem is still there. Can anyone help me with what is going on? Also I can pull my key out of the ignition at any time if that has anything to do with it. I did a few searches and read about rewiring the starter and also about an ignition switch. Any help would be much appreciated!

Re: intermittent Starting issue

Check the ground on your firewall. Pull it apart, and abrade it with scotchbrite or fine sand paper. Clean with isopropyl alcohol, and reassemble. See if that works for you. I believe others have had similar problems and this turned out to be the issue.
