just got a Line6 Vetta combo amp ($1700 new) + a floorboard controller ($400 new) + an amp cover off Craiglist for $650!

never left the guy's bedroom, was still on the original 1.01 software - i did the free upgrade to 2.50 to get all the features of the Vetta 2 amp for free.

this thing is awesome, and almost has too many features to deal with. you can play through two amp models at the same time, or two of the same amp through different speaker cabinets, lots of effects, etc.

i wasn't crazy about the "oxblood red" vintage looking speaker grill, so i took the entire thing apart and recovered it in some black speaker cloth. looks sweet now.

nice find and nice setup, i was never really a fan of Line6 stuff though, Im more of a Laney pure tube amp kind of guy

I don't know what my sister's youngest son had in his 88 Dakota, but when a TRAIN ran past my house, I didn't hear it over his 'TUNES'.

although this amp would peel the paint off the walls, my "loud noise warning device" won't allow it, and goes off when the decibels reach an unacceptable level.

coincidentally, the "loud noise warning device" also functions as the "high speed warning device" when installed in my passenger seat.

What guitar is that in the first few pictures?

Looks similar to a Schecter body?

Confused me at first because the second guitar is a Warlock and I was wondering how the different angle made such a huge difference.

its a Charvel Model 4 in the first pic. here's the old rig and a few of the axes.

moving into a new house next month, and i got 10 guitar wall hangers on ebay for $35. now i can hang them up in my mancave room and not trip over them.

Looks nice! I actually kinda prefer the oxblood red though. hahah, but I like weird stuff.

And I still play on my Crate gx-212. Bought it new in 2000, and have been rockin' it since. When I DO upgrade though, it's an Orange amp, and a Marshall fullstack for me.

But $650? That's a steal of a deal! Nice.

the Vetta has an Orange model, and about 12 different Marshalls.

i used to have a solid state Crate 1/2 stack, but it was a while ago. i played a newer Crate tube amp, and it sounded really good. what is the GX?
