Who actually has a tomyx intake?

I'm looking for some power mods, and would like to keep the stock torque box for obvious reasons. Can someone please explain to me exactly what the problems were with the tomyx intake?

Torque box????? The Tomyx intake had zero problems that I know of and had proven dyno results to back it up.

Re: Who actually has a tomyx intake?

I did a search and there was a group buy some time ago. A lot of ppl seemed to be having some issue, and Tom said it'd be the last time he'd do it because of all the problems they were having.

Re: Who actually has a tomyx intake?

The only problem was Tom was having a hard making it profitable for himself because he was having difficulties with the supplier of the U bends ( I think)

Ok, I see that the supplies were hard to get. Damn, any chance of getting them for $250 again instead of the $500 listed?
