flowing water noise in dash???
Does any one else get the very noticeable flowing water sound in the dash area when your car is running? I suspect something to do with the heater core/engine coolant but i don't know if it's normal or bad, i don't remember when it started but it's been over a year. also, nothing leaks in or out of the cab and all my fluids are/stay full.

I think it would be the water going to your heater. If you have some air in the line or the coolant is low, it may make that sound.

That's what i was thinking and it really makes sense. I did a rad flush a couple months ago though, it didn't help. Is there any way to bleed air out of that system?

I get this every now and again, but not very often. It's usually on startup.

Look on the passenger side up under the dash and you will see a rubber hose going from the heater/ac box to the floor. This is a drain for condensation but usually clogs up with mold dirt etc. When I pulled mine I drained over a gallon of water from it,cleaned the rubber hose out and the "running water" sound was gone. If you run your AC you should see water dripping from where this hose goes thru the floor, if not then the box most likely has water in it. Also gets rid of some of the musty smell when you run your AC

You could blow on the drain hose, and if you hear air bubbling, then you know that the hose is clogged.
