Is there any way to get the nessary materials to make the us spec svx have heated seats? Or do you have to buy the seat and wire it?

On the OBDI vehicles you pull the coin holder out to get to one of the mounting screws that holds the cover under the steering wheel. Do you have to pry out the diagnostic port to get to the screw on the OBDII vehicles? I have not yet had the need to do that on my late model cars.

So theres no OBDII with heated seats then? (Last one could be 95?)

Are you guys saying there is no heated seats in the US SVX's? This makes me very unhappy. Not even a question I thought to ask as I assumed that any car of this price range when new would have had the option as standard. Would maybe the Canadian cars have had it?

Canadian SVX = warm butt/no alarm
USA SVX = cold butt/security system

I guess they assumed it was too cold for car thieves in Canada????

Or that overweight Americans had enough insulation in their a** to keep them from being cold enough to need heated seats

So then, what is in the hole to the right of the steering wheel? The seat heater switch or the ODBII port? Where is the one that's not there?
