My Daughters a trooper (not state)...

We went riding last a week and a half ago and she fell off the 80 when she hit a tire in the field. She said she heard a pop when she picked the bike back up (she's 11). She rode for the next 4 days and kept asking to go out some more. The arm still hurt so today we took her to the docter and found out she broke her arm, just above the wrist. She has a cast (pink of course) but even though the wife is ticked off, big time, my girl took it in stride. Never cried and wants to get back on the bike. I love this kid. My little girl, she's 5, still wants to ride. The plan is to give her the 80 in two years and move my oldest up to a KLX125. And I thought I'd miss out on the bike stuff having two girls.

Apples don't fall far from the tree!!!
My son-in-law and I have spent MOST of the last 2 weeks getting the eldest daughters 49 Studebaker ready to produce mass quantities of tire smoke for Labor day weekend.
She drove it for several years as a stocker. We are small block chevy-ing it.

She used to get off the kindergarden bus at the shop and hang out with Dad till closing time. ( we always had strange stuff cookin'). 57 Golden Hawk, 63 Grand Torismo, 49 Pontiac 'big block' coupe, etc. It was all in fun, but it stuck.

Which is fine and all, as long as she doesn't get tired of waiting for it to happen, and takes matters into her own hands.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, scotch in one hand, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming HOOOOYA !!!!!

I'm proud of her. She's all excited about getting back on the bike. What really impressed me was she rode for 4 more days without complaining.

I hope my 2yo son grows up to be as tough as her. That is great that she is riding. More kids should be out in nature on a bike instead of in front of the tube.
