you are sad- says n00bs mommy

I was sitting here at the computer while my mom was watching the news. I was making a CD when they were doing this story about the gusty winds here. So all of a sudden i hear a cars security system going off ( the car they are talking about) and all you hear is the horn beeping and i shouted out " thats a subaru horn!!"..so i ran to the TV...then they showed a tree that fell on top of a brand new tribeca. My mom turned to me and said wow you are sad LOL....

and no the tree impact did not improve the new grill on the tribeca

Motor x2.

What's sadder is I can tell Grand Cherokees starting up (better than Subes) from 500 ft. Very distinct sound.

No you not.

My friend (legacy owner) and i were talking on the opposite end of the parking lot from our cars (parked side by side of course) and we heard a subaru alarm go off and we both just take off running to check on our cars. he swears he didnt run b/c i ran and i ran b/c i thought it was my car under attack. We both of course have out a clicker and are going crazy with them as we run (which of course set my car off) His car got bumped a girl trying to park in the spot next to him.

You should have seen the girls face when we finally got there. She hits one car and the alarm goes off and then out of no where my car starts going nuts too. We told her subarus send out a distress signal to other subarus. She said "thats like so cool. i wish my car had that." (Why i dont know. What are the other cars going to do? Drive over the person who's attacking the other car?) She didnt seem all that bright.

I've learned to be in tune with my cars alarm. I set it when i park the car in my front yard as my neighbors kids like to try to play in it. I never remember to disarm it when i get to school so when i get out of class and go to put stuff in the car or am talking and open the door I end up setting it off. I wish i'd learn not to do that.

I can't set my alarms because I live about a block from a 'biker bar' and the harleys set them off!!, And since both cars are 97 Outbacks, the alarm is the SAME, and I don't know which car is screaming till I get out of bed and look for flashing lights!!
On the pluss side, since both cars are the same, I had the subi-guys set BOTH cars to the same frequency, so I can hit one button, and shut them BOTH up!!

Oh, What tangled webs we weave!!!
