Tell me about it. Not only is it ugly, but they broke on of the side skirts and the rear bumper loading it on the truck to ship it here. Oh well, Im sure it will look a ton better with paint and minus the hood.

Make the car run. I'm sure it runs fine, but make sure for sure.
Paint the body a not ugly color, you will be good to go. I'm thinking black. You won't have 500+hp, but you will have a fast, decent looking SVX.

Ditto on the black paint. Won't make the body kit so flashy...definitley invest in a new rear light bar as well.

I was actually looking for the paint codes earlier today for black. This site was very helpfull. I agree it would help hide some of the gaudy-ness. I never realized how friggin rare this car is. Ive been into Z's for a while now and always thought my 240z was rare but holy crap, these cars are few and far between.

Yeah, you can see what members such as...everyone...thought of the guy who listed that thing on e bay in one of numerous threads. is it as horrible as it looks? Im not sure what the guy listing it was thinking, honestly, but your probly the type of guy that will make the best of it.Study hard, you have some work ahead of you.
If you have any questions on why the 5 speed doesnt work, Tom'sSVX is pretty well versed in trannys, as well as many other members here. If you want to....something...with that bodykit, Silverspear might be the guy to turn to for fiberglass advice. Your already familiar with the how toos and tech documents and all that stuff, so id say your prettymuch covered. Oh, dont be afraid to check out the wanted and for sale sections for any parts you may need Good luck
